The Foundation of my practice and offerings combine the physical with an inner emotional and spiritual journey, by integrating mind, body, breathe and meditative awareness.
I strive to promote an understanding of the inter-connectedness of all these aspects in personal health and well-being.
My Story
I began my own personal yoga practice, after having my first child over 18 years ago and I was hooked! For me, I was attracted to the holistic approach of looking after my whole body from the inside out and after just having my first child I was curious about the practice of yoga and its benefits and how it could support not only my physical health, but my mental and emotional health too.
I soon realised that this was the beginning of something bigger than myself, the more I embodied the practice, the more I could see and feel my transformation. I felt more at peace and in control of my thoughts, more aware of my body and its needs and I felt a calm sense of clarity. I am motivated to share these amazing traditional practices of life science with others. That’s when I decided to take my learning deeper and I began my yoga teacher training in Liverpool my home town under Yogacharya PR Mohanan and I haven’t stopped since with over 500hrs of training and continuing.. my motto always a student!
I am certified Yogacharya with International Shiva Yoga Centre & registered Yoga NZ teacher and certified workplace mindfulness facilitator. My passion is to share the joy and benefits of yoga and mindfulness. To help support people find inner peace and thrive in today’s challenging world.
My style of teaching is an holistic approach to sharing yoga, nurturing students on their personal journey. I have worked with major commercial, research and educational organisations in New Zealand and The U.K. I also facilitate an international online meditation group with Mindful Leader.
